A very interesting conclusion, and something to think about. I'm not sure what the answer to your question could be. When I think about my own experience, I often feel like I don't "fit in' with other women, yet it is female companionship that I crave most. It's like I don't want to have to try to give up who I am to become one of them, yet that is how it often feels. I'm sure this has something to do with it at some level. 💕

Such a great piece, Belinda. And your closing questions are something I have been sitting with foe several years now too. It is so challenging to be part of / create communities that truly nourish us in this world we live in. But I do believe it is possible.

Thank you Kelly, so glad to enjoy it. Also very comforting to know you are carrying the same questions..... I think about community sometimes, and think about all the lovely people I have connected with, even briefly, in the odd comment on here. How lovely it would to have everyone in a room some day in real life. Maybe that is something worthy to work towards?
